Beach landings
This 4 hour course comprises of 1 hour of classroom discussion on the complexities of landing and operating on beaches and 4 hours of flying in Scotland's finest scenery. The 4 hours flying will give you a comprehensive introduction to flying around the Scottish mountains and islands (bring your camera) plus the amazing opportunity to land at the world's only licenced Beach Airport - Barra. The alternative beach strip is at Sollas on North Uist if Barra is unavailable.
This course is designed to give you confidence to extend your abilities as a PPL holder and enjoy this unforgettable experience. Clearly, timing is dependent on the tides!
